Saturday morning's are for cuddles and coffee. We had a good week, with a lot of smiles from Ashley and laughter from Brodie, and not much from Hope (although we do see 'almost' smiles when she has her seizures).
We have hired a couple new respite workers and it looks like we're well set up for the summers. We even found someone to come on Wednesday evenings so that we can play slowpitch. This is our evening 'out', and Brodie comes with. It's a lot of fun.

Thanks for your blog. I'm so glad Brodie's eye patch treatment has been effective. I haven't checked in for a while, so I've been catching up and looking at some of your older posts. I love the photos of the girls in their Easter dresses...so pretty! And that little video of Brodie reading his journal to Hope is soooo sweet. I always wanted a big brother; it looks like Hope and Ashley have a fantastic big brother! Today is Mother's Day...even after all this time, it's still a bit of an awkward day for me. I'm so thankful for children and mothers and I know you are blessed beyond measure in your role as a mother. I'm glad for you and for Alex! Happy Mother's Day!
