Hope is keeping a bit of formula down so far today, but now she's coughing up green stuff. So, it looks like she has a cold. I was happy to see her eyes open this morning...

Ashley and Hope were born with Adenylosuccinate Lyase Deficiency. This metabolic disorder left them with a damaged brain resulting in seizures and profound psychomotor delay. They were not expected to live past infancy. Although they were palliative care, we kept them at home to love and hold. Ashley died on March 18th,2011 (6yrs old) and Hope followed her home on August 14th, 2011 (4yrs old). We now continue our journey as a 'Family of Four'.

Poor Hopey. Give her a get well kiss from Elle and Kaden's Nana. I also hope you are getting well yourself. Remember, if there is anything I can do for you let me know. Candace said Elle has a temp today so she is home from school. We are taking her to the Dr. at 4:00. Take care.
