Ashley and Hope were born with Adenylosuccinate Lyase Deficiency. This metabolic disorder left them with a damaged brain resulting in seizures and profound psychomotor delay. They were not expected to live past infancy. Although they were palliative care, we kept them at home to love and hold. Ashley died on March 18th,2011 (6yrs old) and Hope followed her home on August 14th, 2011 (4yrs old). We now continue our journey as a 'Family of Four'.

Love all the photos in the smilebox. The girls are so cute and everyone is all smiles for Christmas. Hope you have had time to VEG out and just enjoy being a family!!
Hello Jolene. Your computer skills are amazing! We've had our usual all-day food fest at work. I finally got to taste Deb's famous trifle because she made a batch without it's "kick"! Merry Christmas and wishing you all a good night's sleep!
Helen
Thanks for sharing these photos. I'll echo Helen's comments, "Your computer skills are amazing."
