Ashley and Hope were born with Adenylosuccinate Lyase Deficiency. This metabolic disorder left them with a damaged brain resulting in seizures and profound psychomotor delay. They were not expected to live past infancy. Although they were palliative care, we kept them at home to love and hold. Ashley died on March 18th,2011 (6yrs old) and Hope followed her home on August 14th, 2011 (4yrs old). We now continue our journey as a 'Family of Four'.

Oh boy, when it rains it pours!! Hopefully Brodie is feeling better today. Hope you have had a relaxing time, just the 3 of you. Nice that you can have a break, and that there are special homes where the girls can go. Neat how that worked out for you. We remember you in prayer....love you all. Madelaine

Oh Jolene our hearts just cry for you and for Hope as she suffers, our prayers are flowing up and also thank God for the respite couple. Is Brodie feeling better?
