During the last four days, Ashley has been limp and lethargic, mostly sleeping and if her eyes opened it was a half lidded, glassy eyed look. This morning her eyes are open and she seems awake, just like she would normally look, except she's still limp, she's not having any seizures and she's not posturing.
Her chest still sounds horrible and she's not coughing anything up, but she looks so good. I told Alex this morning that she's probably going to shock us all and get better.

I hope that Ashley makes it. I'm sure there have been many prayers going heavenward for Ashley. I know I certainly have hardly been able to think of anything else.
Thanks for keeping us informed. Love the picture of you and Ashley.
I don't think I have ever seen her so at peace.

Day by day we wait..on the Lord, what might He do, what is His plan...
Alex and Jolene , we as grandparents have grieved, gone thru the emotional upheavals each time one of the girls comes to deaths door, it is so much more intense for you as loving, dedicated parents. We just pray for strength for you both and for Ashley to be comfortable, painfree, and thank our Lord for her smiles, maybe we will see another smile...

Don't know what to say ........ mom said she drove in on Friday and said Ashley was limp but so peaceful - none of those awful seizures torturing her. Praying for her and all of you.
