Waiting for warmer days...

We've been enjoying the bits of sunshine around here, but will definitley appreciate some warmer days.  When I have a warm afternoon I can take Hope outside for a bit, and it's nice to give her a change from the couch.  She's still having a LOT of seizures.  Yesterday she had seizures every 5-10minutes for a couple hours and that was hard to see.  She eventually went to sleep.  No vomitting though.

Poor Hopey having to endure all those seizures - she must have been exhausted. And I agree, Jolene - I am waiting for warmer days too (with NO RAIN please, God, if you're listening). Is Brodie playing soccer or baseball this spring/summer??

Jolene,

I can't believe that I stumbled upon your blog today. My daughter Bethany is 7 years old and was diagnosed with Adenylosuccinate Lyase Deficiency at the age of nine months. She will be 8 on Saturday. I read your blog and I see my life. Your little girls actually have so many resemblances to my little angel. Bethany is showing signs that we may be facing end of life with her. You know better than anyone that we can't be sure the when, but I feel it in my heart of hearts. I do not want to intrude on you but if you would be interested in corresponding with me I would love that. My email is c.riggs.1@hotmail.com. I would just love the opportunity to fellowship with someone that is walking in my shoes. God bless you and your family.

Your triple comment made me chuckle, Judith! No soccer and no baseball for Brodie, he said he wasn't interested. He likes playing catch and kicking the ball at home with us, and with the neighbour kids, which is much better than organized sports anyway.
