I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. I had the pleasure to assist Ashley back in Sept when she needed assistence on the bus. She was a very sweet little girl with the most beautiful smile.I will be praying for you and your family as you go through this difficult time. God bless you and your family. Enna Mcleod

Dear Jolene, Alex, Brodie, Hope and Mira,
I cannot stop thinking about Ashley. I cannot stop thinking about you. I feel very lucky to have met Ashley at Brodie's hockey game. The love surrounding her--and you--was palpable. That love will stay with you forever, I know that. You gave her life and kept her safe and kept her home. What an incredible gift for all of you. Now God is welcoming her with open arms. Please know we are thinking and praying for all of you...
Love, Arlene, Bill, Graham and Duncan

Hi Jolene and Alex,
We are sorry to hear about Ashley. I can't imagine what you have gone through but I guess one consolation is that we have God to turn to in these trying times. Our prayers are with you. Not sure if we will be able to attend the funeral yet, depends on the weather.

Thank you for allowing our family to be a part of Ashley's life through this blog. We only met her in person once at Tim and Kathleen's but through this blog have learned to appreciate who she was and what she brought to your family. Our kids especially have learned a lot through your pictures and how you have shared your struggles, hopes, and joys. Thanks for being open. We will continue to pray for you.

We just know that Ashley is running around in heaven giggling like little girls do while our Lord and Saviour warmly watches on. He nods her on and smiles as he watches for the first time his miracle of a creation running carefree with no struggles or no concerns. Ashley was a blessing and will continue to be for everyone who knew her and will hear about her. We are sorry for your loss and know that our prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of your daughter and we celebrate with you the gain of our Heavenly Father as he welcomes her home.God Bless each and every one of you.
Sent with much love,

our church's MOMs group was meeting at the exact time you were having ashley's funeral. none of us claim to know what you're inside of right now, but we do know the love a mother has for her child. we prayed that God would be close to each of you as you say your final "good-byes." thinking of you and praying for you too.
